Dick, Arlene, Marloes {Program Director}, Esther and John
In June 2015, we are took a Grand Circle Travel (GCT) river cruise on the MS River Adagio. The cruise took us on the Danube River, the Rhine-Danube-Main Canal, the Main {pronounced "Mine"} River and Rhine River and into the three countries of Austria, Germany and the Netherlands. The tour originated in Vienna, Austria and concluded in Amsterdam, Netherlands. The adjacent map, which can be enlarged by clicking on it, shows our route and the locations of our stops/visits.
We traveled with our friends Arlene and Dick from Vermont. Arlene and Esther grew up together and have been friends since childhood. Our program director on the cruise was Marloes Mezzei from the Netherlands with whom we had a great time.
During our trip we saw many interesting places in the three countries we visited. Hopefully the photos in the various galleries will do justice to these beautiful sites. Unfortunately, we have been to so many places that we are not be able to remember the names of them all. Enjoy the photos, even those with no descriptions.
